Panasonic's third Gold winner breaks two key rules of packaging: Always expose the entire product and promote frontal display first. Instead, the company designed a package that sells the product equally well from the side. To improve ease of display, Panasonic developed a locking mechanism that holds the front and sides to stop the packet swiveling. Even with limited shelf space, a store can display all five colors.
