Flexible tabeltop piece

This sculptural tabletop piece evolved out of an experiment in bending surfaces along seams. Folds flat for storage and then unfurls to hold coins, keys, fruit, and other small treasures. Individual units can be joined laterally to form a landscape. Gray industrial wool felt made from factory excess. 85% wool and 15% mixed fibers. 12"x12" square.
