A microwave that can designed to fit in a space the size of a drawer means that now even the smallest kitchen can have a microwave oven.
Designed by Anoush Mortazavi, the drawer sized microwave uses an aluminum blade to replace the microwave's rotating dish, and the hollow, stainless steel door holds the electronics. A magnetic switch turns the microwave off instantly and prevents accidental opening. The microwave is controlled by a capacitive touch screen on borosilicate glass.
