Resolution 4 birdhouses

Resolution: 4 Architecture designed a little accent piece for a charityevent: a birdhouse inspired by the classic urbantennis-shoes-over-the-telephone-wire trick.
The design emerged amidst explorations into modular construction forurban environments, and strategies for achieving maximum efficiency and minimumwaste in residential fabrication. They chose to create these small-scalehabitats to experiment with digital rapid (SLA) prototyping.

We are interested in alltypes of digital fabrication via mill, water jet, 3D printers and contourcontrol sculpting, says RES4 partner Paul Coughlin, but the 3D printer seemedthe most applicable to our modern modular explorations which exploit volumetricunitization, not surface unitization.
