Long egg

The shape of an egg doesn't need to be oval. Changing the shape to aline makes in easier to slice the egg in even pieces.

The SANOVO 6-32 became known as the long eggmachine. The machine, which produced egg pieces that were app. 20 cmlong with a regular centre of yolk surrounded by egg white of an eventhickness, was a sensation at its first exhibition in London in 1974. The concept behind the long egg was simple, but thedevelopment of the machine required considerable time and resources.
